• Updating policies in compliance with employment regulations
• Annual updating of the employee handbook
• Overseeing clearance administration for resignees (e.g. compliance with notice period, computation of salary in lieu of notice, generation of final pay details)
• Deactivating electronic HR access (if applicable)
• Updating of employees’ personnel files
• Performing enrolment and deactivation of benefits
• Monitoring and tracking of leave
• Reimbursement of claims
• Managing performance appraisals (as per the client’s existing processes)
• Collating and presenting performance rating reports
• Managing the promotion process and advising performance incentive payouts
• Managing probation and confirmation appraisals for new hires
• Managing performance appraisals with line managers
• Sourcing for training providers (as per the client’s requirements)
• Performing course registration
• Application for government funding (e.g. Skills Development Fund)
• Extracting learnings and insights from surveys (as per the client’s existing survey forms)
• Managing payroll administration with the client’s existing payroll software (outsourcing available)
• Assisting with annual increment and bonus exercise
• Managing employee disputes
• Handling disciplinary issues and personal grievances as well as union matters
• Supporting management with advice on employment packages
• Generation of employment contracts
• Briefing new employees on terms of employment and benefits
• Collating required documents for and setting up of personnel files
• Monitoring of probation expiry period and following up with line managers
